MEGASPORT ASSUMES 2XU DISTRIBUTION

The Australian brand 2XU is a world leader in sports compression, part of the Louis Vuitton group.

2XU (pronounced Two Times You), the world's leading sports compression brand, was launched in 2005 in Melbourne by triathletes Clyde Davenport, Jamie Hunt and Aidan Clarke. The company specializes in compression garments and has developed revolutionary proprietary technologies such as Muscle Containment Stamping (MCS).

2XU was born from triathlon, and has been expanding its presence in other sports, as its compression garments clearly improve performance in training, competition and recovery.

The brand has product lines for triathlon, running, fitness or swimming, and is currently used by more than 17 NBA and NFL teams, as well as soccer teams such as Bayern Munich and Olympic athletes from different disciplines.

Today, 2XU distributes its garments in more than seventy countries around the world. The company has been owned since 2013 by L Catterton, part of the Louis Vuitton group. In 2023, the company's turnover will be around one hundred million dollars.

Megasport is the brand's new partner in Spain, Portugal and Andorra for the next five years, providing service this autumn/winter 24-25.

The distributor Megasport was founded in 1990 by David Vinyeta and Beatriz Molero, exclusively distributes clothing and equipment for outdoor sports, such as skiing, mountaineering and cycling. In addition, in its diversification, the company has consolidated a solid experience in the distribution of the world of footwear and fashion.
