Lange enters a new era with the new Shadow ski boot. The culmination of many years of development and research has resulted in a new ski boot with an improved and innovative construction that will mark a before and after in the way of skiing.
The Shadow is a fusion of performance and comfort. The Shadow boot features a double technology inspired by Lange's experience and know-how at the highest level. On the one hand, the Suspension Blade, which gives the product a distinctive and profiled design; on the other hand, the Double Pivot, which lengthens the axes of the boot for optimal pivoting.
The goal of these two innovations, which converge in the Assisted Performance System, is to provide natural and intuitive movement for skiers. Inspired by carbon fiber plate running shoes and mountain bike suspension, this system enhances performance and intensifies the feeling of ease of movement. The Shadow naturally accompanies skiers in their movements, guiding their desires to savor the pure pleasure of skiing.
These technical innovations increase the boot's power with less physical force, as well as vibration absorption and a rebound that is increased to 26% with less physical effort.
This innovative boot needed a revolutionary liner on the same level. For that reason, Lange has also worked on a unique, snug and comfortable liner. The Auxetic technology liner features a honeycomb construction that thermoforms to adapt to the curves of the foot.
In addition, the toe cap is made seamless, as a single piece, so as to avoid chafing on the skin. The design leaves room for the metatarsals and pressure points are reduced for a better fit. Lange achieves the perfect union between performance and comfort with the new Shadow boots.
