We are currently seeking a Communications Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our brands’ communications across all channels: media, social media, influencers, events, and corporate communications.

This person will play a key role in building and safeguarding our brands’ voice, connecting with the skiing and mountaineering communities, and ensuring consistency in our messaging at every touchpoint.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media and Community

  • Development and implementation of content strategies for Instagram and TikTok for various brands.

  • Planning the editorial calendar in alignment with campaigns, launches, and seasons.

  • Creation and/or coordination of content (photos, videos, copy) with internal teams and creators.

  • Community management and fan engagement.

  • Tracking metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and ongoing optimization.

Influencer marketing

  • Planning, execution, and monitoring of influencer and brand ambassador campaigns.

  • Identification and outreach to individuals with interests in skiing, mountaineering, and the outdoors.

  • Negotiation, coordination of partnerships, briefings, and content approval.

  • Analysis of the performance of each action and reporting of results.

Media Relations and PR

  • Drafting and distributing press releases to specialized and general-interest media outlets.

  • Managing relationships with journalists and key media outlets in the industry.

  • Development and implementation of the annual media plan.

  • Monitoring of press clippings, impressions, and reporting.

Newsletter and Digital Communication

  • Drafting, writing, and sending newsletters to end consumers.

  • Database segmentation and analysis of results.

  • Coordination and creation of promotional graphic materials for e-commerce, Google Ads campaigns, and Meta Ads campaigns.

E-tailing

  • Coordination with online clients (e-tailers) to ensure proper brand presence, image, and communication across their channels.

  • Adapting content, product descriptions, and materials to the specific requirements of each platform.

Events and Corporate Communications

  • Coordination of brand events, product launches, product testing, and press presentations.

  • Preparation of corporate presentations for clients, brands, and internal teams.

  • Support for management and the sales team in the development of communication materials.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations, or a related field.

  • +3 years of experience in a similar communications or marketing role.

  • High level of English (required).

  • Regular participation in sports, especially skiing, mountaineering, or outdoor activities (we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes the world of our brands).

  • Experience managing Instagram and TikTok, with a solid understanding of current trends and formats.

  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, in both Spanish and English.

  • Organized, proactive, and decisive, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This will be taken into account

  • Previous experience as a community manager and/or managing influencer campaigns.

  • Experience in media relations and writing press releases.

  • Experience in event planning.

  • Experience in the sports, outdoor, or lifestyle industry.

  • Design skills (Adobe, Canva) and basic video editing.

  • Experience with email marketing tools and social media analytics.
